image SAWS dedication to conserving water has received national recognition. Conservation programs in 2007 achieved water savings of 843 million gallons. That's enough water to serve nearly 9,000 families for one year.

image Conserving water reduces the need for additional equipment to treat and distribute water, as well as treat wastewater after it's used.
